New Necklaces up on The Culture of Design's Etsy Shop!

Now that we've all recovered (or almost) from the Miley Cyrus hoedown at the VMAs, let's take a look at what's new in my Etsy shop. I've sold one necklace (the chunky gold chain one with the vintage magnifying glass) and listed two more for you to check out here.

So, you'll never look at a Teddy Bear the same way again. We are all scarred from Miley at the VMAs. I get it, but my necklaces are proof that you can still appreciate those things that are unique and one-of-a-kind when tastefully done.

Happy Tuesday Huesday! Navy blue is the new black for Fall/Winter 2013/2014! 

English Writer John Ruskin could not have been more accurate in saying that the "blue color is everlastingly appointed by the Deity to be a source of delight." This same blue color is taking center stage on the catwalk for Fall/Winter 2013/2014 and looks smashing on everyone! Missoni, Valentino, Jill Sander and Dries Van Noten, to name a handful, are offering the navy blue hue in dress, trench and trouser form. You may want to follow suit as Emma Watson, Jennifer Lawrence and Amanda Seyfried are a few of the celebrities to have first been caught in this dashing dark color. Navy the tone for today's Tuesday Huesday is the new black and a wardrobe must-have for the coming cooler days!

Outfit of the Day: Print and Proper

Today's outfit is featuring a printed pant with warm and cool hues of rust, coffee, white and cobalt blue, topped off with a white, ruffled blouse. The ravishing feather and gold necklace sold here helps unite the colors emanating from the pant's fun print (This necklace is one of my own creations that you'll find on my Etsy shop!).
