Raleigh First Friday Follow-up

Many of you have been asking how Raleigh's First Friday event. Let me tell you... I had a wonderful time! My friends Tiffany Jones (check out her amazing Etsy shop here) and Rachael Pusateri and my cousin Makenna Smith were solid sidekicks. By setting up, selling, socializing and setting down, they made the night that much more fun. I also swapped details with some amazing people, sold two necklaces and two pairs of earrings to happy customers, and even received invitations to various events like a fashion show that will be held in December (I'll be sure to pass along the details once I get more information on it)! After the evening ended, I grabbed dinner with some friends and family at a local Indian restaurant called Blue Mango. Their incredible, authentic Indian food acted as the perfect fuel to keep me awake for my two hour drive home.

After a short-lived night of sleep in my darling bed, I woke up in a zombie state. However, I quickly snapped out of it when I saw all of my old middle school friends at the baby shower that I posted about yesterday (check it out here!). A few of the ladies were dying to take a peek at my jewelry so I pulled out most everything for them to see. Well, guess what...they ended up buying four necklaces and two pairs of earrings from me! Talk about a profitable twenty-four hours. I felt so loved, and I was touched at how everyone adored my designs. Thank you, everyone, for being so supportive, loving and encouraging. I'm surrounded by such quality people that I value beyond the reach of words. Each one of you is a gem to me.

Scroll below to take a look at a dose of the pieces I've sold since Friday night, and the brilliant photographer is Amanda of Amanda Lynne Photography. I can't thank her enough for all of her help. Please give her website a visit by clicking here. Happy Monday! xx

This gold necklace with its vintage sun broach was a huge hit at Raleigh's First Friday.

Simple gold stud earrings are the ideal alternative to diamond or pearl earrings.
This pair went fast Friday night. It's stunning with its black stone, turquoise droplet and white pearls.
This is one of my favorite pieces with its soft blue, white, gold and sandy tones.
