This Fall 2012... Nail Trends

The Fall 2012 runway sprinkled with fashion forward manicures is our standard for nail glam. Kate Spade and Thakoon are among the trend setting designers. From colors to shapes to textures, experimentation is the theme that's taking fashionable nails to the next level. Will you keep up?
This Fall 2012... Nail Trends

How are you polishing your nails this Fall?
1.) Kate Spade wins the fun and feminine nail award thanks to Deborah Lippman who used Fade to Black of Lippmann Collection Nail Lacquers as the base and topped it off with polka dots of I'm Not Innocent, a pastel peach polish.
2.) Backstage at Thakoon, Kim D'Amato for Nars revamped the French Manicure with dramatic dark tips against a soft beige. OPI's Black Nail Lacquer is only $18.
3.) Teal: Tracy Reese's runway was filled with the rich teal tone Scarab (pictured above) and metallic hues. She had Manicurist Jin Soon Choi manning the model's manicures with polishes by Sally Hansen. The Trophy Wife by Essie pictured above is a great and affordable Teal tone for Fall.
4.) The custom velvet nails featured above were done by Keri Blair MAC at the catwalk of designer Ruffian. The round tips and rich tones popped beautifully against the designer's Fall fashion collection.
5.) Mirror Metallics by Essie is available at Nordstrom for just $8. You can't beat this price for feminine sophistication!
6.) Essie's Berry Naughty is a great oxblood look alike for Fall, available at Beauty.com for $8.
7.) Another must-have oxblood shade is Bobbi Brown's Twilight Shimmer. Go to saksfifthavenue.com for this $18 polish.
